Graduating from the Beginner class last week... Sonja and I have registered for the Intermediate class.
... which begins tonight. Who wants to Salsa??

hey!... so, I'm thinking about registering for the Orange County Half-Marathon. Anyone interested in joining me? It should be a slow, steady, and most importantly... fun run. Yay running!… it's so much fun I can hardly stand it!
…or, pick your poison, there will also be a 5k and a full marathon (for anyone daring enough to run 26 miles so soon after New Year's Eve) the same morning.
Let me know if anyone's interested. We can pile in and bomb-up to the OC in the HONDA early Sunday morning. And keeping with tradition, we will stuff our gourds with a huge breakfast and gallons of mimosas afterwards. I figure there's gotta be a Broken Yolk -type restaurant somewhere in Newport.
The run in is Newport Beach... check out the course map here.

Congratulations to Lisa, Kristen, and Sara!!!... all three took part in this weekend’s 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. Raising $2100 (each) for a worthy cause in of itself is quite an accomplishment, but to walk sixty miles in three days...!!!... well, I just think that’s swell.
update: pics from last weekend here.

What a great weekend... We had another successful BBQ on Saturday, thanks to the die-hard regulars!
Pics and more to come...
Oh the unbounded powers of the digital age! Is there nothing it can't do? I wonder what wonders the computer could do for little ol’ ME??
(click on a pic, then after it loads pan back and forth over the picture to see the before and after)
--> thanks to lisa for the ref.
that's right!!!... my fourth group lesson at the Encinitas Rec is tonight. am I excited? sure... after all, I've always been a huge fan of all types of salsa... picante, fresca, mango... and now, finally, the kind where I get to play out my salsa fantasies and I get to be the salty chip doin' the dippin'!

Ever hear the expression better late than never? Well, I live my life by that saying...
...And so, without further ado: Run Baby, Run
